What's your challenge this week?
QOTW: What kind of eater are you? Are you more of an unguided grazer, a nighttime nibbler, a convenient consumer, a fruitless feaster, a mindless muncher, a hearty portioner, or a deprived sneaker? I found this article and thought it was very insightful into bad eating habits.
MINE:
I'm down 1lb for a total of 21lbs down. Not bad considering the crap food at the Super Bowl party I went to (which was oh so delish). I have to say, that all the C, D and F grades I've been tracking in my Booty Camp book is motivating me to eat better this week.
Challenge:
Last week I ate out WAY too much. My challenge is to try and go a whole week without eating out. During the week, it's not so bad. But by the end of the week or over the weekend I have a tendency of eating out a lot. I need to stop that. Or at least curb the habit.
QOTW:
I'm definitely a combo of the mindless muncher and the hearty portioner. I've really been trying to tackle the portion bad habit. I was raised to finish everything on my plate, but when my eyes are bigger than my stomach, it'd equal a diet disaster. A few years ago, Brian and I switched from dinner plates to salad plates for our meals. It really helped me to curb the large portions and start to listen to my body say when it was full. The snack habit is absolutely another big one for me. I'm a bored eater. I don't have to be hungry, but if I'm bored, I always go for snacks.....whether I'm hungry or not. It's almost like I'm convincing myself that I'm hungry, when in reality, I'm just bored and need something to do. I really need to work on these.....
